LAND DRAINAGE & WATER SUPPLY
Our drainage section is second to none - we even offer an in-house design service for drainage systems. For smaller projects we run our own low-ground-pressure wheeled machine, while on larger schemes we use our tracked continuous-chain trencher, which incorporates laser grading.
Where conditions do not allow the use of one of these machines, one of our fleet of excavators will take over.
No job is too big or small.
We stock a large selection of pipe and fittings so that we can accommodate most type and sizes - especially useful in an emergency.
EARTHWORKS & LAKES
Over the years we have developed considerable expertise in earthmoving and civil engineering.
We undertake all kinds of work in this field, including:
- Digging new lakes, ponds and reservoirs
- Cleaning out silted-up lakes and ponds
- Levelling a site or field for new development, using our heavy plant
- Installing underground services
Our skilled workforce have the use of a fleet of purpose-built modern machinery for every purpose, from road construction to golf courses and from horse ménages to ponds and lakes.
TRENCHING & IRRIGATION
Alongside our water supply and drainage services, our team has many years experience in specialist trenching and irrigation work.
Services include, ditching, trenching, drilling and boring. We can design and install an irrigation system for any location, from a golf course to a country house garden.
With the help of our pumping engineer and electrician we can design and supply any pumping system that may
be required, including irrigation, slurry/effluent control and pressurised water booster pumps. All have full
manufacturer's support, providing the customer with emergency back-up should things go wrong in years to come.
BOREHOLE WATERWELL DRILLING
B. A. Hull Ltd. water well and geothermal drilling division operate a fully-trained team with over 30 years' experience. We carry out all aspects of the work, including pipework, electrics, pumps, control units and installation, using our own qualified engineers, which enable us to keep all the work in-house and under our control.
Our rig is capable of drilling in excess of 100 metres deep if necessary, however, our experience shows that most are within the 100m depth benchmark.
Ground stabilisation is something not generally associated with being necessary in the hard Cotswold brash, however, we have carried out several piling schemes on made-up ground and also offer this service.
We feel that in this climate of rising costs and where we have to look after the environment, geothermal
and water well drilling will, in a short time, repay the installation costs and prove to be cost-effective.
